What a fabulous transformation from a tired grey carpet to a beautiful parquet floor in one of our most popular guest rooms! Fantastic experience from start to finish. Andy was wonderful and very understanding when there were delays in arranging a date for our new LVT to be fitted- exceptional customer service. They have done an amazing job laying the floor in my kitchen and bathroom both of which looked really good. everyone has always been very friendly and helpful and I would recommend them to anybody.

The owners create a genuinely friendly and approachable atmosphere in the store – They listened really carefully to what was wanted, and were just very helpful and informative all round. They managed to get a fitting date sorted quickly, and the fitter arrived on time, and did a great job of expertly placing some very good quality lino with plywood underlay in the bathroom, and putting a neatly fitted carpet with a thick new underlay in the hall. Excellent quality, value and shopping experience – Very pleased all round, and clearly would happily use again 🙂

Absolutely amazing service. Andy brought around many samples for me to look at and, with his knowledge helped me to select what would be suitable for me. Dave fitted the carpet and it looked perfect he even came back to refit some of it where we had to pull it up for the wardrobe to be fitted. I will definitely use them again. 🙂

I am blown away, once again, by the transformation that new flooring can bring to a room. This time, it was new bathroom vinyl, new bedroom carpet, and a small area of LVT with transition from the carpet. From choosing the products through to fitting, everything was done with care and attention. The fitter went above and beyond to achieve the best finish, despite issues with the existing subfloor. The team did a great job fitting herringbone LVT throughout the bottom floor of our house. They leveled the entire floor using latex and then fitted the LVT in the time they said it would and were very patient with us and all our chopping and changing. Would highly recommend them 🙂

What was particularly useful was to be able to discuss what we needed with knowledgeable people and then be able to take a rug home to see how it looked. More than just a rug shop! When we moved into our new house, we phoned Andy at his shop. He told us to take photos of the rooms where we wanted rugs and come in to see him. As well as showing us rugs galore he came to our house with a car full of rugs to show us what they looked like on the floor. Importantly he had ideas and enthusiasm for how we could use rugs in creating our home. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no pushy selling. When we chose something, he suggested borrowing the rug for the weekend. We have so far bought three rugs and will be buying more as we settle into our new home. On our visits to the shop, we met Kimberley and experienced the same knowledge, commitment, and passion for rugs. A visit to see them is highly recommended.

Been searching for an oversized rug for a while but difficult to get examples to view. Service was great and really helpful spending time with me on what was available from different suppliers. Then happy to order in a couple for me to see – really happy with final decision and service was amazing.

We can’t recommend Coast & Country enough! We’ve used them twice to fully floor two new houses, and both times Andy and Kim were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. Andy went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed and took care of all the measuring beforehand. We have been very happy with the results both times and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If you need a rug this is simply the only place to go to in Devon. They have an amazing range of rugs to suit all locations, uses and pockets. We were fortunate enough to walk out with a 3m x 2m rug which was absolutely perfect for the intended location and at a sensible price. Clint and Andy are friendly and knowledgeable and they do carpets and wood floors too – I’m sure the same comments would apply to these. Thoroughly recommended.

I have used Coast & Country three times. Each time Andy has been incredibly helpful going above and beyond. We had an LVT bedroom floor and we are very satisfied with price, product and fitting. We came back and had an engineered oak floating floor for the lounge. Again, Andy did an amazing price. Then we went back to buy a beautiful large cream rug in new wool for the lounge.Forget the big stores and chains. Andy is brilliant and I cant recommend him highly enough. He carries a large stock and is extremely knowledgeable on his products.

My mum had her flat’s entire flooring replaced by Coast and Country Flooring. They were great. They removed the old carpets and replaced with mum’s choice of hard floor. It was very quick with minimum disruption to mum. We’re all very pleased with the end result. Excellent service and very respectful with mum’s age and sensibilities. It’s our second very happy experience with them as they did some carpeting at our house a couple of years ago. I’d definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

Recently moved into my new home and it needs new carpets and flooring throughout. I cannot thank Kimberley and Andy enough for all their help. Andy came out to measure up the house at a convenient time and had great ideas and knew exactly what I wanted. He brought loads of samples and was happy to leave them with me so I could decide. Kimberley was so lovely and really made the process so easy. The price was great and really competitive. The first carpet was fitted the following week in my sons room and its absolutely perfect. Having been looking for flooring for a long time we finally found what we were looking for with Andy @ Coast & Country Flooring and Rugs. Initially we just wanted the hallway doing but after seeing it all fitted we decided to have the cloakroom done in the same flooring, then the lounge then finally the conservatory. We love the look. Very sofistacated, warm and so easy to clean you can even use a mop ! Not only do we love the flooring, Andy was a breath of fresh air , helpful, friendly and professional. His fitters were a father and son and nothing was too much trouble , they did an amazing job and I’d recommend them as much as I would Andy. We’re having the stairs and landing carpeted next and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Oh one final thing, Andy loves a really good Espresso

Great, service from the moment I called and enquired about a Lino for my bathroom. Andy, came around one evening after my work with plenty of sample books and to measure up free of charge. Took a week from phone call to install and everything was so easy and friendly. Will be using again for my lounge carpet next month.
